Precision excavation.
Laser-guided bulk earthworks, site cut & fill, deep trenching, and tight-access earthmoving engineered for structural accuracy — built from the ground down.
Laser-Guided Foundation Bench Cut & Soil Removal · Kew Site Project
Engineered groundwork for lasting stability.
Every successful construction or landscaping project starts below the surface. Improper site preparation, uneven compaction, or incorrect sub-grade benching leads to structural settling, poor drainage, and costly foundation failures later on.
We approach excavation as a discipline of structural engineering, using dual-grade laser technology and GPS 3D site modeling. Our machinery allows us to perform high-precision cuts, deep footing trenching, and soil stabilization on even the most constrained suburban sites.
Whether preparing sub-bases for concrete slabs, excavating pool shells, cutting retaining wall benches, or clearing hard rock, we manage the complete earthmoving process from initial DBYD service locating to final spoil disposal.
Four core excavation services.
Bulk Cut & Fill
Large-scale earthmoving, pad leveling, and site balancing using dual-grade laser levels for perfect building benchmarks.
Trenching & Footings
Precision digging for strip footings, pier holes, plumbing lines, electrical conduits, and deep storm drainage channels.
Pools & Basements
Deep excavations for swimming pools, underground tanks, lower-level basements, and multi-tier retaining wall benches.
Tight-Access Excavation
Micro excavators (width down to 750mm) capable of navigating narrow side-gates for rear yard re-shaping and detailed digouts.
Five steps to ground readiness.
Dial Before You Dig & service scanning
Ground-penetrating radar (GPR) utility detection and DBYD location plans to safely map gas, water, power, and telecommunications.
Laser bench marking & site survey
Setting up high-precision laser emitters to establish exact finished floor levels (FFL) and sub-grade bench depths across the entire site.
Bulk earth clearing & rock breaking
Removing topsoil, tree roots, concrete structures, or rock formations using specialized excavator attachments and hydraulic hammers.
Detailed trimming & sub-grade compaction
Trimming trench walls cleanly and compacting sub-grade soil layers with heavy vibrating rollers to meet structural load standards.
Spoil removal & site handover
Loading, hauling, and legally disposing of excess clay, soil, or rock, leaving a clean, level, and ready-to-build foundation pad.
What engineered excavation delivers.
Laser-level precision
Eliminates hand-check errors and over-excavation, saving expensive concrete filling volume during footings.
DBYD & GPR safety compliant
Rigorous service locator scanning prevents catastrophic underground utility strikes and project delays.
Optimized soil balance
Calculated cut-and-fill balances reuse clean site soil wherever possible to reduce waste export expenses.
High-density compaction
Sub-base compaction tested to strict engineers' specifications to prevent future ground sagging or foundation shifts.
Versatile machinery fleet
Access to micro 1.5-tonne excavators up to heavy 20-tonne track units with augers, tilt buckets, and rock breakers.
Fully licensed & insured
Operated by certified plant machinery operators with complete public liability and environmental protection insurance.
Site earthworks, realized.

Frequently asked questions.
We operate specialized micro excavators and track dumpers with retractable tracks as narrow as 750mm. This allows us to fit through standard doorway frames and narrow side walkways without damaging existing structures.
Our machinery fleet includes hydraulic rock breakers and ripper attachments for hard clay and rock strata. If unexpected underground water springs or rock layers are hit, we halt work, assess the sub-grade, and implement drainage or rock hammering solutions immediately.
Yes. We offer complete turn-key earthmoving services. Soil, clay, rock, and green waste are loaded directly onto our tip trucks and legally disposed of at certified environmental recycling or clean-fill facilities.
