The Brief

Seamless transitions from indoors to out.

A well-crafted deck acts as an organic extension of home architecture. It creates an inviting platform that anchors outdoor entertaining while integrating seamlessly into surrounding gardens and pool zones.

We prioritize sub-frame durability above all else. Utilizing galvanized steel or treated H4 timber joists set on concrete footings, our structures are designed to resist timber warping, moisture rot, and structural sagging.

Whether specifying native Australian hardwoods or low-maintenance architectural composites, every board is aligned with millimetric precision and secured using hidden board clips or countersunk stainless fixings.

The Palette

Four timber & composite options.

01 / Native Hardwood

Spotted Gum

Rich, varying grain hues from light brown to deep red-brown. Highly durable, natural fire-resistance rating (BAL 29).

02 / Blonde Hardwood

Blackbutt

Prevalent pale golden brown timber with straight, clean grain lines. Exceptional structural strength and BAL 29 compliance.

03 / Architectural Composite

Millboard & Trex

Ultra-low maintenance composite decking. UV-stabilized, splinter-free, slip-rated, and completely rot-resistant.

04 / Class-1 Hardwood

Ironbark & Merbau

Extremely dense Class-1 hardwoods engineered for heavy wear areas, pool surroundings, and long-term element exposure.

The Method

Five steps to precision decks.

01

Footing excavation & setout

Laser-guided grid setout and deep concrete stump hole excavation beneath soil levels to reach solid load-bearing clay.

02

Sub-frame engineering

Installation of galvanized steel box section or treated timber bearers and joists with joist tape protection to prevent moisture rot.

03

Board selection & prep

Sorting timber boards for natural tone uniformity, pre-sealing board undersides, and prepping expansion joint spacing.

04

Hidden fastening installation

Securing boards using concealed clip systems or precision-drilled, flush countersunk 316 marine-grade stainless steel screws.

05

Edge detail & coating

Fitting seamless picture-frame board borders, sanding, and applying multi-coat penetrating oil or protective sealants.

Why It Matters

What engineered decking delivers.

Zero-warp sub-framing

Steel or heavy-gauge timber sub-frames prevent the bouncing, bowing, and joist twisting common in standard deck builds.

Concealed screw systems

Clean, fastener-free surfaces underfoot through advanced side-groove clipping and hidden fixing technologies.

Optimal drainage & airflow

Calculated board-spacing gaps ensure efficient water runoff and sub-deck cross-ventilation to prevent rot.

Bushfire code compliant

Expert material selection compliant with Australian Bushfire Attack Level (BAL 12.5 through BAL 29) building codes.

Pool surround safety

Non-slip coatings and marine-grade stainless hardware prevent corrosion and slick surfaces in wet areas.

Ten-year guarantee

Comprehensive construction warranty covering structural frame integrity, footing stability, and hardware longevity.

Inquiries

Frequently asked questions.

Natural Australian hardwoods offer unrivaled organic warmth and tactile character, requiring oiling every 12–18 months. Composite decking costs slightly more upfront but never requires sanding, staining, or oiling.

Galvanized steel frames provide perfectly straight lines over long spans without warping or twisting over time. Steel is completely impervious to termites, ground moisture, and rot, giving your deck double the structural lifespan.

We recommend recoating hardwood timber decks with a high-grade penetrating oil once every 12 to 18 months, depending on direct sun and weather exposure, to maintain natural colour and wood hydration.
